Vertical laminar flow (VLF) in clean room research facilities allows for continuos circulation of the air inside the fab at a very high rate of filtration. In order to prevent interference with this system, open air or perforated top designed tables are frequently used for workspace. The perforation pattern in the top allows the circulating air to flow through only slightly obstructed. G2's stainless steel perforated wafer examination table's top is constructed of a single sheet of 304 stainless steel with a perf pattern laser cut into the top. This design allows for maximum strength and a clean, simple product. Utilizing the unperforated portions around the perimeter the top is mounted to a solid stainless steel frame. The frame is TIG welded at all seams giving extra strength. It features square tubing with an attractive brushed finish. The table comes with standard level feet but is available with optional swivel locking casters. Several other options available include an under mounted keyboard tray, computer cubbies, and a perforated under shelf.
